The movie, “Eight Legged Freaks” was too scary for this child.  When daddy clicked to it on the TV, this 5-year old kid expressed that he found it very inappropriate for his age range (not to mention his species!)  Apparently 5-year old children are not considered humans…

My older nephew got a Nintendo DS as a reward when he read his first book.  Assuming that every child received a cool video game upon reading their first book or for being really good, he thought that I must have gotten a DS when I was a little girl.  When I told him that no, in fact DS’s hadn’t been created yet, he then assumed that since I didn’t get a DS, I must’ve gotten a Leapster (FYI, Leapsters did not come out until 2003!)
