In many families, parents tell their children that “shut up” is a bad word.  Yet with the constant noise and screaming that comes along with raising kids, mothers, fathers and other adults sometimes forget.  Of course, it only seems fair in the eyes of a child that everyone should be punished the same for the same crime!  Today’s cartoon is based on a little boy who overheard his mother say those naughty words… The twinkle in his eye and the glee in his voice were hysterical when he asked his daddy if his mommy was going to get a spanking on her bottom!  And boy was it was difficult for daddy to keep from laughing!

The child this cartoon is based on has a habit of “disowning” his relatives whenever they do something that he doesn’t agree with!  I imagine there are plenty of children who do this–how many parents out there have been disowned?

The little Louisiana kid that this cartoon is based on made a very good point after his daddy told him that he had better watch his mouth!  Funny, but true!

The little boys in this cartoon are from Tennessee.  The younger brother may very well grow up to be a lawyer or a judge, as he knows his law! When daddy handed down the verdict about going into each others’ rooms, the younger brother obeyed the rules to the letter and still managed to annoy his brother by hanging out centimeters from his door.

The kid this cartoon is based on did not want to endure his mommy’s wrath, so he tried to wriggle out of it using one of his parents’ favorite phrases!

The anonymous kid this cartoon is based on thought he would be able to do whatever he wanted with his grandpa out of the way for a while!
